We are seeking two compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Futures Matter Family Practitioners to join our Child Sexual Exploitation direct work service in the Child Exploitation Team. This vital role focuses on supporting children and young people who are at risk of, or have experienced, sexual exploitation, as well as working closely with their families.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families, using your expertise to influence practice, build trust, and advocate for those affected by exploitation.

This is a hybrid working role, visiting children and families across the County with the opportunity to work from local offices or at home. This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday, with a fixed-term/secondment initially for 6 months, with potential for further extension.

Main Responsibilities

1. Work with children and families to support children at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE).
2. Attend the Multi-Agency Child Exploitation Panel Meetings.
3. Meet with key partners as necessary to contribute towards the collation of soft intelligence information on CSE issues/trends and complete the Exploitation Risk Screening tool.
4. Support the delivery of bespoke exploitation training.
5. Undertake flexible, creative, and imaginative approaches to offering support to children, young people, and their families.
6. Ensure completion of accurate documentation, reports, and records.
7. Develop and sustain productive working relationships with referring agencies.

The Ideal Candidate

1. Be a passionate and experienced practitioner with a strong commitment to safeguarding children and young people from sexual exploitation.
2. Have a strong understanding of child sexual exploitation, including Grooming, Coercion, Contextual risk factors, and missing children.
3. Experience working with vulnerable children.
4. Excellent communication and emotional intelligence.
5. Professional and compassionate in challenging situations.
6. Committed to continuous learning and reflective practice.
7. Actively contributes to service development and better outcomes for children.
