We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our offices in Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle, Edinburgh, or Glasgow. You will support prestigious geotechnical projects across the UK and internationally, particularly in infrastructure (rail, highways, water) and energy sectors (carbon capture & storage, renewable energy, offshore/onshore oil & gas, nuclear).

AtkinsRéalis is a leading geotechnical consultancy with over 325 UK-based professionals, known for skills, excellence, and commitment.

Your Role:

• Proven technical and project management experience, mentoring junior engineers, with good communication skills. Experience in Design and Build environments is preferred.
• Degree in civil engineering or geology, postgraduate qualification in geotechnics, and chartered status as a civil engineer or geologist.

What You Bring:

• Academic background with a degree (MSc or equivalent).
• Chartered status and experience in a fast-paced engineering consultancy.
• Project management skills, client relationship management, and commercial awareness.
• Proven geotechnical design and analytical skills, experience with software like GeoStudio, Repute, Wallap.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations, leadership skills, excellent communication, and report writing skills.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas; valid UK driving license.
