What You’ll Do

The Global Payroll team at CoreWeave is responsible for payroll operations, payroll accounting, and compliance globally. As CoreWeave continues to scale rapidly, the team is focused on implementing best-in-class systems and building processes to support payroll accuracy, automation, and compliance. This role will work closely with stakeholders across People Operations (HR), Stock Administration, Accounting and Finance to ensure accuracy and scalability.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Payroll professional with proven hands-on experience managing end to end payroll Operations, Accounting and Compliance in a publicly traded company for countries across EMEA and APAC regions. This position will be based in CoreWeave London office and will report to the Director of Global Payroll.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process complete, accurate and timely payrolls for CoreWeave employees across multiple EMEA and APAC countries
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of payroll taxation and reporting of equity transactions (RSU, NQS, and ESPP) through payroll in international payroll jurisdictions
  • Show strong understanding of international payroll regulations, payroll tax and labor laws in different countries
  • Prepare international payroll journal entries, perform variance analysis for payroll related P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, support Global Payroll Accounting manager during month-end, quarter-end and year-end close and with ad-hoc projects
  • Manage relationships with international payroll providers, third-party vendors, and employer of records (EORs) to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of service
  • Conduct periodic payroll audits and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of payroll reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of payroll data
  • Collaborate with People Operations (HR), Stock Administration, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to align on compensation, benefits, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain international payroll process narratives as part of SOX compliance
  • Perform monthly and quarterly operational and financial Internal Controls related to international payrolls to maintain compliance and mitigate financial risks

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • 7+ years of experience processing payroll and managing payroll operations with specific experience in a fast-paced global publicly traded company
  • International payroll expertise (US/CA Payroll Knowledge is a plus)
  • Experience with global expansion and onboarding payroll service providers in new payroll jurisdictions
  • Successful implementation of Payroll/HRIS systems (Workday implementation experience is highly desired)
  • Proficiency using G Suite products, Excel and other relevant financial tools
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethics in maintaining data confidentiality and integrity
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple competing priorities and still meet strict deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build positive and professional relationships with others to cultivate teamwork and collaboration

What We Offer

The base salary range for this role is £84,000 - £112,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

In addition to a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration.
