Responsibilities

  • Lead global pricing strategy and execution in alignment with overall commercial objectives.
  • Strengthen pricing discipline and performance across markets by supporting and challenging commercial leaders.
  • Design and implement internal, data-driven pricing tools (e.g., price waterfall, price variance analysis, global growth room for price impact).
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop strategic pricing countermeasures for pricing gaps.
  • Build and govern pricing frameworks, processes, and training to elevate pricing maturity.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to maximise value pricing and price realization.
  • Lead and develop a team of pricing and data management professionals.
  • Partner with regional and country-level commercial teams to tailor pricing strategies to local market dynamics.
  • Define and manage global pricing governance, including CPQ setup, discount corridors, and escalation processes.
  • Analyse and report pricing KPIs and trends to senior leadership.
  • Drive adoption of Price Waterfall methodology globally.
  • Develop scalable tools for price monitoring and impact modelling using ERP data.
  • Collaborate with IT to harmonise pricing-relevant data across systems.
  • Provide strategic coaching on pricing execution, segmentation, and value-based pricing.
  • Guide pricing strategy during annual financial planning and ensure smooth regional execution.

Essential requirements

  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management in B2B industrial/manufacturing.
  • Proven team leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple ERP systems.
  • Proven expertise in Price Waterfall methodology and B2B pricing models.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or internal platforms; pricing software experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
