What will you do

  • Join a national team of hydrogeologists and work across a range of hydrogeology specialisms including engineering hydrogeology, water resources and sustainability, land quality and remediation, environmental hydrogeology, permitting and legislation.
  • Work on diverse projects for clients such as utilities/water companies, local authorities, Network Rail, National Highways, Environment Agency, SEPA and other major infrastructure providers.
  • Assist with activities such as assessing sustainable abstraction to meet environmental flow targets, designing and undertaking pumping tests, groundwater control for excavations, groundwater impact appraisals for wetlands/peatlands, and other related hydrogeology tasks.
  • Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team and develop in areas you find interesting, with support from managers and mentors.

What you’ll need

  • Be working towards a Masters level qualification in Hydrogeology
  • A flexible self-starter who is keen to drive your career forward
  • Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things
  • You must have the permanent right to work in the UK
