The role

S-RM is looking for a Group Financial Controller to join our finance team at an exciting time for the business. This is a fast-paced and rapidly evolving global organisation. We are seeking someone who is adaptable, a team player, and keen to grow with the business. On a day-to-day basis you are likely to take on the following tasks:

  • Production of monthly Group Management Accounts
  • Business partnering and involvement in Budgets/Forecasts
  • Reporting and development of advanced Financial KPI's
  • Ultimate ownership of Balance Sheet controls and reconciliations
  • Management of statutory audits, working with auditors and managing internal requirements
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and modelling
  • Manage and review all Tax and VAT submissions, liaising with external advisors where necessary
  • Advise the business on any changes in Accounting Standards
  • Global cash flow management
  • Global treasury management, including FX
  • Manage the accounting treatment of Share Option Scheme
  • Ownership of intercompany accounting
  • Manage the integration/Set up of new Entities
  • Managing a small team

What we are looking for

We think that candidates with the following skills and experience are likely to succeed as the Group Financial Controller at S-RM. If you do not meet all criteria but are still interested, please apply. We are looking for candidates who are particularly strong in a few areas and have some interest/capability in others. The ideal candidate will adapt to change and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and may have some or all of these skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent relevant experience
  • Full membership of a relevant professional accounting body (CIMA, ACCA or ACA or equivalent)
  • Experience working with external stakeholders
  • Experience with a broad array of finance software packages
  • Experience of process improvement
  • Confidence managing multiple projects to tight deadlines
  • Comfortable presenting at a senior level

Candidates must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment
