Two days in the office. Thirty-eight days off. A global remit. And a clear path to CFO.
This is a senior group-level role in a fast-growing, private equity-backed business with operations spanning Europe, North America, and Australia. They’re market leaders in their space, growing quickly, and you’ll be stepping into a function that’s stable, well-run, and ready for you to take forward.
The role
You’ll be the driving force behind group financial control, leading a team of four and taking ownership of:
- Group consolidations across multiple entities and currencies
- Statutory reporting under IFRS
- Group audit process and relationships with external auditors
- Tax compliance and transfer pricing across multiple jurisdictions
- Treasury, covenants, and cash flow management
- System improvements in ERP and consolidation tools
- Supporting M&A integration and onboarding of acquisitions
It’s not firefighting – it’s about maintaining high standards, improving processes, and building the platform for continued growth. You’ll work closely with the CFO, Head of Finance, and FP&A lead, giving you direct exposure to board-level decision-making and succession planning.
Why it’s worth your time:
- £80,000 to £100,000 basic + 10% bonus
- Hybrid – just 2 days a week in the Nottingham office
- 38 days holiday (bank hols + birthday off)
- Wellbeing leave and volunteering days
- Inclusive, people-first culture with great socials
- PE-backed growth story – plenty of variety and strategic exposure
What you’ll need:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with strong IFRS technical skills
- Hands-on experience in group consolidation (including FX) and statutory reporting for multi-entity, international businesses
- Confident line manager with a track record of developing teams
- Experience managing audits, tax compliance, and treasury functions
