The Role

This Group Financial Controller position offers a rare opportunity to work closely with a high-calibre CFO and leadership team. You will take ownership of the group's financial control environment, overseeing consolidated reporting across multiple entities and playing a key role in M&A activity, from due diligence through to integration.

In addition, you will lead and develop the finance team, setting high standards, driving best practice and ensuring the function supports the rapid pace of growth. This is not a static reporting role, you will be hands-on in building a first-class finance function while also acting as a true business partner to senior stakeholders and contributing towards the growth plans of the group.

The Candidate

We are seeking a qualified accountant with strong technical foundations, proven leadership skills and experience in M&A. Ideally, you will also have worked in a PE environment in a highly acquisitive business with an appreciation of the pace, rigour and commercial focus a PE environment demands. You will be commercially astute, resilient and confident managing both people and complex projects in a dynamic, evolving environment. Above all, you will bring ambition, energy and the drive to make a real impact in a high-growth business.
