DNA Recruit haveteamed up exclusively with a world-class Global Creative & Innovation Studio that's shaping the future of Immersive Technology for some of the biggest names in CPG, Entertainment, and Retail.
With a proven reputation for delivering cutting-edge experiences across XR, Digital, AI, Gamification and more, they are now looking for a commercially-minded leader to spearhead their business development function.
As Head of Business Development, you’ll lead new client acquisition across brand and agency sectors. Working closely with the CCO and wider Commercial, Creative, and Technical teams, you’ll own the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals and handing over to client services for long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead outbound Business Development and pipeline growth across Immersive, Creative, and Tech-driven services.
- Identify, pursue, and close new opportunities with senior decision-makers at global brands and agencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling proposals and respond to RFPs.
- Represent the business externally at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Develop and scale a high-performing BD team in line with company growth.
- Use CRM and automation tools to ensure efficient tracking, reporting, and outreach.
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience in Business Development roles within Creative Tech, & Immersive Media Agencies/Studio’s.
- Proven track record of closing £1M+ projects or workstreams.
- A strong network of contacts within top-tier agencies and global brand marketing or innovation teams.
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: XR, AI, Spatial Computing, Gaming, Experiential, etc.
- Experience building or leading successful commercial teams.
- Exceptional communication and pitching skills with a creative and strategic mindset.
- A high-energy, proactive approach and a passion for innovation.
Location:Remote (UK-based) with routine travel to Newcastle HQ
