The Role

We are looking for a Head of Business Development to lead our established Business Development team and play a key role in securing high value projects and frameworks. As our head of Business Development you will be part of our senior management team and be responsible for managing and creating successful tender submissions to enable us to grow sustainably.

What You’ll Do

  • Bid Leadership – Act as a strategic partner to the organisation in shaping deal strategies, win themes, and value propositions from early qualification through submission and negotiation, driving all required actions through to completion by ensuring bid lifecycle, helping to build confidence and trust in our solutions and delivery capability.
  • Content Leadership – Drive creation of impactful, precise bid content that communicates our values and cultural direction.
  • Stakeholder Management – Serve as the central point of coordination across Business Development, senior leadership and client stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Risk Management – Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to timelines, compliance, solution scope, and commercial terms.
  • Continuous Improvement – Lead win/loss reviews, capture lessons learned, and contribute to developing our bid library and knowledge.
  • Quality Ownership – Ensure all submissions are accurate, consistent, and reflect our brand, delivering documents and presentations that resonate with clients to secure business growth.

Hybrid working (approx. 2–3 days on-site per week)
