Job Title: Head of Construction Trades

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £67,558 per annum (Fixed)

Job type: Permanent, Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Lead curriculum development within the Construction Trades Department in the FE College.
  • Manage departmental performance and ensure an outstanding student experience.
  • Work with staff, students, and industry partners to embed high-quality teaching and learning, strong employer engagement, and a culture of innovation.
  • Provide leadership in FE and bring strategic insight, operational strength, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Leadership experience in Further Education (FE).
  • Strong background in the construction sector.
  • Ability to contribute strategic direction, operational management, and continuous improvement.
