We’re looking for a Head of Creative to lead our in-house creative team. We’re after someone with proven experience building and evolving bold, fast-paced disruptive brands - whether at an agency or in-house - with a sharp instinct for big ideas, arresting creativity, and a thrill for a high-paced working environment. As Head of Creative at Wild, you’ll help to set the creative vision, ensuring every piece of work that leaves the building feels distinctly “Wild.” You’ll support in concepting, execution, and delivery across every channel and touchpoint, working closely with marketing, product, retail, and performance teams to ensure our creative is as impactful commercially as it is culturally. You’ll be a hands-on leader – comfortably working on the tools as you help to mentor the team. As an omni-channel brand, you’ll be managing designers in both the DTC and Retail space. Whilst part of this role will manage direct reports and the output of the team, this is very much a hands-on role. The successful candidate will still be resourceful, creative with daily brief outputs. Responsibilities
Creative innovation - translate briefs into effective creative deliverables, inspiring the team with innovative executions for paid social, CRM, retail, campaign aesthetics and brand awareness projects delivering a bold and impactful message Manage, lead and inspire the design team across digital and print collateral Create new ways to unlock respective audiences, from customer acquisition to retention Creative strategy - alongside the Creative Director you’ll bring a data-led approach to new product and new market growth Development and delivery of retail design work to ensure the customer experience is consistent with the bold aesthetic, while informative enough to communicate products Design for physical products, analysing current trends and translating them into product case designs Support in art direction across brand, design and photography to ensure content aligns with the bold and engaging aesthetic
What we need from you
7+ years of experience within a creative team A resourceful do-er; this is a high-output role A confident leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and can inspire a team to deliver their best work A strong ability to translate briefs into effective, bold, creative ideas Thorough experience with design for a range of channels and formats including packaging, CRM, paid/organic social, print media, OOH A deep understanding of creative for paid social Thorough experience within art direction A balance of creative instinct and commercial awareness — able to champion bold ideas while keeping business goals front and centre Experience in managing and mentoring to develop the careers of the design team Expertise within the Adobe Creative Suite & Figma Rock-solid organisational skills to ensure briefs are hit on time in a fast-paced and reactive environment A guardian of the tiniest of details
