Job description

It is an exciting time to join the team as international data exchanges are increasing both in volumes and complexity of information and this is a specialist post.

The role will include responsibility for the operational delivery of the automatic exchange of information with offshore tax authorities under a variety of treaties and international agreements. Communicating with overseas tax authorities, dealing with enquiries arising from data exchanges and delivering presentations to support them. The role will require technical and AEOI and IDET services expertise to a wide variety of internal and external customers and stakeholders. Responsible for setting the strategic direction for new AEOI projects and the Product Owner for those projects. There will be responsibility for supporting colleagues across the team on all aspects of the work.

There will be collaborative working with a wide variety of key internal and external stakeholders.

Travel to attend meetings could arise including some held overseas with overnight stays.

This is a challenging role as international data exchanges evolve so the jobholder must be flexible, adapting to changing departmental requirements and willing to work in different ways to meet business needs.

DA&E has also embraced the hybrid working model and, currently, we ask colleagues to work in the office 3 days a week (or pro rata) subject to business need.
