About the Role

The Altro Group are looking for a Head of FP&A to join the Finance team. The Group FP&A team are financial business partners to the senior managers within the Altro Floors & Walls and Autoglym divisions and are responsible for preparing tailored financial reporting and analysis including monthly management accounts, analysis of business performance, annual budgets and 5-year plans.

This role leads the FP&A team of 6 Management accountants. This is a full time (37.5 hours a week), permanent, hybrid role (minimum of 3 days a week in our Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire HQ).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the FP&A team of 6 Management accountants.
  • Prepare tailored financial reporting and analysis including monthly management accounts, analysis of business performance, annual budgets and 5-year plans.
  • Partner with senior managers within the Altro Floors & Walls and Autoglym divisions.
  • Develop financial models and provide clear, concise insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure deadlines and high-quality delivery; drive efficiency and accuracy through system implementations (e.g., JDE or similar).
  • Manage and optimise financial planning and reporting systems; oversee detailed management accounts and business performance analysis across sales, margins, manufacturing, inventory, and working capital.

Qualifications

  • Hold a CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or MBA in Finance.
  • Demonstrated FP&A experience within a complex, global commercial environment.
  • Proven track record in managing and optimising financial planning and reporting systems.
  • Experience with system implementation (such as JDE or similar packages) and complex group financial reporting.
