Head of Infrastructure role at Ardagh Group. This position leads the IT Infrastructure function and sets the vision and strategy for infrastructure operations, including hosting, databases, networks, security and support.

Role Description

Leadership of the IT Infrastructure function. Responsible for setting the vision and strategy for infrastructure operations including hosting, database, network, security and support, ensuring processes are owned and maturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to the AGP core values through upholding our standards of business conduct, complying with Group policies & procedures, and leading by example
• Establish a working environment which promotes the importance of employees acting with integrity and in an ethical manner in line with the Code of Conduct
• Set the vision, establishing a strategy, and leading the direction of the IT Infrastructure Operations & Support function for the AGP business
• Delivery success of the Long-Range Plan (LRP) projects
• Global AGP coordination and accountability for all aspects of IT infrastructure operations for each AGP plant and as well as enabling central functions including Human Resources, Finance, Procurement and Legal
• Engaging with global business stakeholders, vendors, and IT team to provide a strategic vision for new and supported infrastructure and create system roadmaps and business processes
• Focus on the whole life of infrastructure delivery (planning, preparation, designing, construction/ integration, operation and maintenance)
• Monitor management of all hardware (including cloud technology), databases and licenses, networks, threats, access control and projections of future needs
• Monitor IT infrastructure security and implement measures to ensure resiliency

Requirements

• Strong ITIL4 understanding and practice certification
