The Opportunity

Are you a strategic finance leader passionate about driving performance in a fast-paced FMCG environment? Do you excel at developing teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering results? Join our Savoury Pastry team as Head of Operational Finance and help shape the future of a key category within Samworth Brothers.
As a senior member of the finance leadership team, you will:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of 4 finance professionals
  • Partner with Site Operations and Category Leadership to enhance commercial performance
  • Standardise and improve reporting across two manufacturing sites
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and capital control processes
  • Influence decision-making related to materials, labour, and overheads
  • Drive operational and financial improvements through data-led insights
The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing finance environments
  • Proven success in a Finance Manager, Controller, or Director role
  • Leadership skills to develop high-performing teams
  • Effective communication and collaboration across functions
  • Initiative and ability to drive change quickly
