We are a diverse and inclusive team passionate about education and technology. Our culture is fast-paced, innovative, and dynamic.

The Challenge

We've grown 150% year-over-year for three years running. Our recent acquisition has accelerated growth. We plan for 10x growth over the next five years and will expand into additional products and services. We need someone who can architect systems that scale to support tens of millions of students across continents and reduce operational overhead.

  • Security Leadership: Own security posture across the stack, integrating security into data architecture and deployment pipelines.
  • Data Platform Modernisation: Modernise data infrastructure to serve two new constituencies: retail systems for campus bookstores and analytics for internal growth; support real-time inventory and customer journey analytics.
  • Engineering Enablement: Build platforms and tooling that increase productivity and enable safe, faster deployments.

  • Cost Optimisation: Track record of meaningful infrastructure cost reduction while improving performance and reliability
  • Security Leadership: Experience implementing comprehensive security strategies
  • Data Infrastructure: Expertise in modern data architectures, real-time streaming, and analytics platforms
  • Technical Leadership & Team Building: Able to lead platform teams while remaining hands-on; comfortable as senior engineer on a small team while planning for scale

  • Developer Experience: Treat internal engineering teams as customers
