Join Our Adult Social Care Leadership Team – Champion Excellence in Quality and Safeguarding. We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Quality and Safeguarding to join us. This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working and a salary of £59,961 – £65,471 per annum.

We are recruiting a strategic and compassionate leader to take forward quality assurance, safeguarding governance, and professional standards across Adult Social Care at the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. This role is central to delivering our Social Care Futures vision and ensuring that our workforce is confident, skilled, and supported to deliver safe, person-centred, strengths-based care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality assurance and safeguarding governance across all adult social care teams.
  • Champion professional standards and reflective practice.
  • Ensure statutory responsibilities under the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and other legislation are met with integrity and compassion.
  • Drive continuous improvement and embed a culture of learning, accountability, and co-production.
  • Contribute to RBWM’s strategic priorities: building inclusive, healthy communities, promoting prevention and choice, and delivering compassionate, high-quality services.
