A leading Financial Services client is looking for a Head of Software Development to take responsibility for the Front Office Derivatives Technology space. You will deliver key strategic business goals by identifying system changes that support revenue generation and regulatory reporting for Front Office businesses, focusing on Derivatives Markets.

You will work with development and technology leads across global offices to design technology solutions on the new strategic Sales and Trading Derivatives platforms. This is a high-profile and strategically important role.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the Front Office Derivatives Technology space and identify system changes to support revenue generation and regulatory reporting for Front Office businesses, focusing on Derivatives Markets.
• Collaborate with development and technology leads across global offices to design technology solutions on the new strategic Sales and Trading Derivatives platforms.

Qualifications

• Experienced People Manager
• Strong experience across Java
• Strong Financial product knowledge (either Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Commodities, etc)
• Front Office trading systems
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Salary: Up to £150,000 + bonus + package

Location: London (good work from home options available)
