Responsibilities

About The Opportunity

  • Brand-new position within a growing team, based in Birmingham, London or Milton Keynes.
  • Client-side role embedded within an Integrated Project Team (IPT) Joint Venture Partnership.
  • Standalone role with potential for team growth and career development.
  • Report to a senior management team that values boots-on-the-ground experience and proactive engagement.
  • Expect to spend around three days a week on-site, coaching civils contractors, influencing positive behaviours, identifying risks, supporting investigations, and ensuring compliance with health, safety and security standards.

Requirements

  • Passion, presence, and the ability to operate in a vibrant, challenging yet rewarding environment; you should be self-assured, collaborative, and solutions-focused.
  • Proven experience in health and safety within major infrastructure or complex programmes.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and security legislation.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Professional qualification in Health and Safety or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in and/or ability to assist with the production and review of technical reports including assurance and investigation reports.
  • Comfortable working around plant and site operations.
  • Logical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
