Role Overview: A people-focused role with a hands-on approach is responsible for delivering a proactive HR strategy, always striving to develop the stores' teams, their engagement and performance in line with commercial objectives. Must have an excellent understanding of the business, its strategy, the teams and customers, and a very good understanding of the people challenges faced by the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruitment and employer branding strategies designed to attract and retain the right staff according to skills and experience while respecting labour budgets and business profitability
- Conduct leaving discussions and relevant feedback acted upon, aiming to act on ETO reasons and concerns
- Work together with managers and key stakeholders to identify and develop the talent pool, define and actively follow up on training plans, performance and promotion of the teams to sustain the brands'/departments succession planning and talent management
- To constantly work on developing training programs to ensure employees' needs are adequately met and to deliver masterclasses per training calendar
- Review employee's performance and follow up on 1:1 calendars with employees to determine how well they are fulfilling their jobs and whether they are meeting company standards of professionalism and work performance, looking to sustain the business talent pool
- Drive the ER activity in the brand, advising and taking the lead in resolving HR matters, meeting our legal obligations, and following company best practices
- Support with the definition and implementation of new policies and procedures
- Advising on immigration matters
- Provide guidance on people practices regarding restructures, store openings and closings
- Drive and implement compensation schemes as per company initiatives
- Coach and provide feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency
- To monitor, analyse and act on the Business Units' HR KPIs to achieve business goals within budget
- Provide input to companywide projects to ensure Giorgio Armani is able to improve performance constantly
- People management experience, preferably in an advisory capacity
- Working experience managing Employment Law matters
- Experience in the delivery of presentations and training courses
- Demonstrated ability to understand training needs and development programs
- Experience in a range of recruitment and selection methods
- CIPD qualification desirable but not essential
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with an emphasis on building partnerships, managing conflict and influencing others
- Verbal and written communication, including active listening, for determining business goals and suggesting ways to achieve them through human resource initiatives
- Logic, analytics and problem-solving approach for evaluating business metrics and determining ways to improve results
