    Experience in an operational HR team management or Employee Relations management role, including advising on complex Employee Relations cases.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or above, or a degree in a relevant subject, and/or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrable experience as a pragmatic manager who is passionate about improving processes and shaping employee experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using HR data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and problem-solving abilities.

You will be required to use a breadth of HR knowledge, ideally with experience within the public sector, to support and deliver on a wide range of people activities across the employee lifecycle. This will include providing professional HR advice on complex ER casework and change management, process review and development, payroll and compliance and involvement in HR projects. You will line manage a team of HR Advisors & HR Administrators and use your leadership skills and enthusiasm to support team development and continuous improvement to drive a high-quality HR service.

The salary for this role is £52,413 - £55,722. This is the full-time equivalent salary, and will be pro-rata for part-time. We advertise salary ranges for job roles, with new appointments for external candidates typically starting at the lowest salary point. In exceptional cases, where higher skill levels or experience are applicable, the salary point may be adjusted to secure the best candidate. This approach allows for potential year-on-year salary increases, offering progression and appropriate rewards to employees.
