Base pay range

HSE Advisor — Permanent — Manchester — £38,500 to £40,000 — Hybrid Working: 3 days in office per week

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to for making sure our HSE practices are more than just paperwork.
• Auditing, investigating, advising, and improving.
• Training people so they get it—not just nod along.
• Supporting sustainability and business continuity projects that actually matter.
• Be the right hand to the Group HSE & Business Continuity Manager, helping shape how health, safety, and environment are delivered across all AQA sites.
• We are expanding our portfolio, so construction experience could be helpful to support HSE services.
• You'll work with a respected Workplace team and interact with operational leaders, senior managers, and hybrid workers across the UK.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or General Certificate.
• Experience as an HSE Advisor already; we need you to be able to hit the ground running.
• You know your way around data, audits, and risk assessments.
• You're organized, proactive, and allergic to mediocrity.
• You are able to speak with colleagues at every level.
