We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturing business with around 250 employees across two UK sites, currently looking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor. This is a hands-on, people-focused role with a strong emphasis on employee relations, engagement, and culture-building.

The company has been through a recent period of change and is now focused on stabilising, strengthening, and building a positive, values-led culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day employee relations cases (appeals handled at HR Manager level)
• Lead on onboarding and HR induction for new starters
• Take ownership of employee engagement initiatives (including forums and events)
• Support training delivery, particularly around core values, leadership, and performance
• Partner with line managers to embed strong HR practices across the business

Ideal Profile

• CIPD Level 3 or above (qualification helpful, but experience counts most)
• Solid HR generalist background with strong ER case management experience
• Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment
• High attention to detail and strong written communication
• Enjoys a visible, relationship-focused HR role that combines structure with creativity
• Pension: 3.5% employee / 4.5% employer
• 25 days holiday, rising to 26 after 5 years
• Flexible hours scheme – finish early Fridays if weekly hours are met
• Hybrid working: 1 day from home (after initial settling-in period)
• Option to work alternate Fridays from home once embedded
