Job Title: HR Business Partner

Location: Leicester (with regular UK travel)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and driven HR Business Partner to join our team in Leicester, supporting multiple UK sites through regular travel. This is a high-impact role with a strong focus on Employee Relations, partnering closely with senior leaders to drive business performance through effective people strategies.

As a trusted HR advisor, you'll play a central role in leading and resolving complex ER cases, building leadership capability, and supporting change management initiatives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and hands‑on support in managing complex Employee Relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, absence, and performance concerns
  • Coach and support managers to build ER competence and ensure fair, consistent people management practices
  • Partner with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business goals
  • Lead on organisational change initiatives such as restructures, TUPE, and redundancies
  • Drive employee engagement, well‑being, and retention initiatives
  • Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence (e.g. Talent, Reward, Learning & Development) to deliver strategic projects
  • Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to inform decisions and continuous improvement

About You

  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience
  • Strong track record in an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role
  • Extensive Employee Relations experience, including complex case management and supporting managers through change
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR policies
  • Confident communicator and influencer, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Flexible and able to travel regularly to UK sites (full UK driving licence essential)
