HR Business Partner / HR Team Leader for Elevation Recruitment Group. 12-month fixed term contract outside of York. Part-time arrangement (3 days a week) with hybrid work: approximately 60% time on client site and 40% remote.

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a HR Business Partner / HR Team Leader to work for our client just outside of York. This 12-month fixed term contract is providing cover for maternity leave.

Responsibilities

• Reporting into the HR Operations Manager, lead a team in day-to-day HR operations
• Act as first point of contact for operational HR queries, liaising with Partners to senior leaders
• Ensure employee relations enquiries are handled, monitored and resolved in line with Group policies and procedures
• Handle high volume, complex and sensitive employee case loads
• Develop and coach a team, provide support with complex cases
• Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation
• Be proactive in providing solutions and support to the wider organisation and team

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in HR operations
• Proven experience in handling operational HR queries and employee relations
• Experience with high-volume, complex and sensitive case loads
• Ability to review and update HR policies to ensure legal compliance
• CIPD qualification or working towards it; strong practical experience in employment legislation preferred

Requirements

Part-time availability, willingness to commit to a 12-month fixed term contract, and suitability for a role with hybrid working.
