About the Position

ICPS is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented HR Consultants to support the continuous improvement of HR processes and staff development within the organization. Reporting directly to the HR Training and Development Manager, this role provides an opportunity to specialize in one of two key areas: HR Training or HR Development. Upon acceptance, consultants will choose the path that best aligns with their background and expertise, contributing to ICPS’s mission of fostering professional excellence.

  • HR Training Consultants focus on designing and delivering structured training sessions based on organizational needs and management guidelines. They develop monthly training programs for HR and related departments, prepare and review assessments, and assess training effectiveness through structured feedback collection. By identifying areas for improvement and ensuring high-quality learning experiences, they play a key role in talent development within ICPS.
  • HR Development Consultants specialize in evaluating recruitment practices and enhancing hiring standards. They review bi-weekly interview records and reports, assess recruitment officers and assistants, and provide feedback on interview techniques, tone, and report quality. Additionally, they oversee the second phase of candidate selection verification, reviewing proposed candidates and offering structured feedback to refine screening skills of our officers and assistants.

Key Responsibilities

HR Training Consultant:

  • Training Program Design and Delivery: Develop, organize, and deliver monthly training sessions for HR and related departments based on organizational needs and management guidelines. Ensure training content is relevant, impactful, and aligned with ICPS’s objectives.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Create and review training assessments and exams. Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Talent Development and Growth: Contribute to the development of internal talent by identifying skill gaps, supporting professional growth initiatives, and ensuring continuous learning opportunities across the organization.

HR Development Consultant:

  • Recruitment Support and Feedback: Review bi-weekly interview records and reports, assess the performance of recruitment officers and assistants, and provide constructive feedback on interview techniques, tone, and report quality.
  • Candidate Selection Verification: Oversee the second phase of candidate selection by reviewing proposed candidates and providing feedback on their suitability. Guide recruitment officers and assistants in refining their screening skills to improve selection accuracy.

Skills and Competencies Required

HR Training Consultant:

  • Training Design and Delivery: Strong ability to design and implement effective training programs tailored to organizational needs. Ability to measure training effectiveness and improve based on feedback.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Proficient in developing assessments, reviewing exam results, and collecting feedback to measure training success and impact.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Passion for internal talent development and contributing to a culture of growth and excellence within the HR department.

HR Development Consultant:

  • Recruitment Process Evaluation: In-depth understanding of recruitment processes and interview techniques, with the ability to assess and provide actionable feedback to enhance recruitment performance.
  • Report Analysis and Improvement: Strong ability to analyze recruitment reports and offer constructive feedback to improve the quality and clarity of interview records and candidate evaluations.
  • Mentoring and Coaching: Ability to provide personalized development opportunities for recruitment officers and assistants, helping them refine their skills and improve performance.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • A clear path of specialization in HR, with at least 5 years of experience particularly in training and development, and readiness to teach and lead others in the field.
  • Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English is a must.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing training initiatives, member feedback systems, and professional development programs aimed at fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace.
  • Prior experience as a consultant or in a managerial role, ensuring the ability to guide and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Experience in collaborating with executive management to align cultural initiatives with organizational goals and long-term strategic vision.
  • A motivational and professional approach, fostering trust and credibility within the members.
  • Comfortable with part-time commitment, contributing 8–10 hours (20%) per week, with availability for remote work, selecting your own working hours.
  • A motivational and empathetic leadership style, with a commitment to fostering inclusivity, integrity, and excellence. Strong interpersonal skills to inspire trust and credibility within the organization.
