Job Title: IBA Client Account Handler

Location: London/Hybrid (Typically 2/3 days in the office)

Type: Full time – Permanent

Purpose of the Role

Manage a portfolio of client accounts within Ardonagh Specialty across ASL brands. Responsibilities include investigation and allocation of cash, credit control, payments (claims and return premiums), and producing accurate and timely management information to support ledger performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all debts are collected promptly and liabilities are settled within agreed credit terms
  • Match cash received promptly
  • Complete processes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain ledgers up to date and accurate
  • Produce accurate and timely management information on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Liaise with other departments on outstanding queries, especially cash queries
  • Chase outstanding cash under query with clients/underwriters monthly
  • Prepare and despatch statements of accounts as required
  • Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date records accessible to required parties
  • Monitor client money payments to intermediary placing brokers
  • Notify potential bad debts early and enlist assistance as appropriate
  • Undertake other duties, ad hoc tasks and projects
  • Keep records of all communications
  • Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with group policies and FCA CASS 5 Client Money Rules
  • Complete training and assessments as required by Compliance and Training

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous IBA experience required; MS Office experience essential
  • Global XB system knowledge preferable
