Fantastic opportunity to join this niche national ABS / commercial insurance company and deal with top quality work on behalf of household companies & insurer clients. They have a national presence with offices based in the South West, however this role can be entirely remote with travel once per quarter to their head office in Bristol.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respondent employment law advice, dealing with a wide range of employment matters including review of contracts and policies and procedures.
  • Advise on termination of employment, advise and draft on settlement agreements, and provide corporate support on commercial agreements and corporate transactions.
  • Represent clients during employment tribunal cases; there is also scope to deal with some claimant work, though the bulk of work is respondent focused.
  • Support a team that handles both contentious and non-contentious work and services large clients and individual matters.

Qualifications

  • Ideally 2+ Years\' PQE with experience of providing respondent employment law advice.
  • Experience of working on quality employment law matters at an established practice is desirable.
  • Proven ability to learn from experienced colleagues and develop client relationships.

Team/Work Environment

The team deals with both contentious and non-contentious work and are forging a reputation for servicing large clients and providing outstanding quality of work. The role involves advising an impressive range of regional and national clients, and some individuals, with the opportunity to expand into claimant work if desired.
