Information Security Analyst — Permanent — Location: Edinburgh. Hybrid model requires in-office collaboration a minimum of 40% of time.

The Job
This role supports key functions including incident response, data protection, access control, penetration testing coordination, and internal consultancy. The analyst will work closely with senior team members to maintain and improve the organisation's security posture.
Responsibilities
- Support incident response, data protection, access control, and penetration testing coordination.
- Provide internal consultancy to improve the organisation's security posture.
We'd love to hear from you if you have
- 1-3 years of experience in an information security or IT operations role.
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, DLP, and endpoint protection.
- Understanding of core security principles and incident response processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
It'd also be great - but not essential - if you've got
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, SSCP, GIAC).
- Experience with identity and access management tools and processes.
- Awareness of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOx, PCI-DSS, FSA regulations).
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.

- A non-contributory pension between 8%–12%. We’re enhancing our pension from November 2025. If you contribute 7% of your salary, we will top it up by a further 13%.
