I'm helping a multinational telecommunications company find an IT Audit Manager.

My client is an instantly recognisable, household name telecoms business. A constituent of the FTSE 50, its market cap is nearly £15b.

The audit team is close-knit, friendly, and established within the business. It delivers a portfolio of risk-based reviews focused on cyber, cloud and network security.

Responsibilities

• The IT Audit Manager reports into a Senior IT Audit Manager and delivers end-to-end audit work, including planning, scoping, fieldwork, and compiling first draft reports.
• Audits are highly technical, detailed, and in-depth with an emphasis on quality over quantity.
• IT Audit Managers typically deliver 4-6 audits per year.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cyber, cloud, or network security principles.
• The ability to deliver end-to-end audits, as well as strong communication skills.
• Managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels within a complex, international organisation.
• At least four years' experience in IT Audit.
• Knowledge of 'risk-based' audits - the ability to design and deliver non-statutory audits.
• Passion for technology and an eagerness to learn.
• CISA or equivalent qualification preferred but not essential.
• Current UK right-to-work (sponsorship isn't available).

Location & Team

The team works from an office three days per week. The successful candidate can be based in either Birmingham or London.

Compensation includes a generous bonus and a competitive pension scheme.
