Based in a modern Glasgow city centre office (three days a week), this hybrid role offers the perfect balance of flexibility and connection.
What You\'ll Be Doing
- Integrating and supporting third-party backup solutions, with a strong focus on platforms like NetBackup
- Building in-house applications for testing and capacity management
- Collaborating globally to meet customer needs
- Advising on technical solutions and troubleshooting
- Driving team success through knowledge sharing and problem-solving
What You\'ll Bring
- Solid grasp of on-premise tech: storage, networking, OS
- Proven experience with backup/data protection platforms - ideally NetBackup or similar enterprise-grade solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
- Team spirit and a proactive mindset
Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Nice to Have)
- Programming experience or eagerness to learn
- UNIX/Windows Server admin experience
- Familiarity with SAN, NAS, or S3 storage
- Exposure to Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Cloud computing knowledge
- Project management experience
- Security hardening and vulnerability detection
