We are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager to join us, responsible for delivering complex IT infrastructure projects and supporting the delivery of business change initiatives across the Kingfisher Group. The successful candidate will be based out of our B&Q office just outside Southampton, working from the office 2-3 days a week, with flexibility for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Effective management of project scope and project plans, with accurate and timely project/budget reporting and planning; identify, assess and manage risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of projects and act as the first point of contact for issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Identify, plan, manage and select appropriate resources, including third parties and suppliers, to deliver required services.
  • Ensure projects operate within the agreed governance frameworks.
  • Manage project finances, forecast accuracy and the management of changes, recognising schedule, budget and scope impact (project budgets from £20k-£4m).
  • Create certainty and manage key stakeholders through effective communication, identifying key issues and providing actionable insights to enable effective decision making.
  • Manage multiple (3-5) projects concurrently (depending on size/scale).
  • IT infrastructure experience, including the full project lifecycle, is essential.
  • Proven experience of project delivery across diverse technology areas (e.g., On-Premise, Cloud and/or hosted infrastructure; SAP, Databases, ATG, Applications; Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Storage, Networks; Active Directory, Identity, PAM, Security; IT Service Management, ServiceNow, monitoring, asset management).
  • Experienced in delivering significant technical and non-technical change; strong financial management capabilities including forecasting and budgeting; excellent planning and dependency management; exceptional communication skills at all levels.

What we offer
