Henry Seymour & Co (part of the Jensten Group) have an exciting opportunity to join our well-established team in Sutton as an Insurance Advisor. The Jensten Group are a growing company with circa 1000 employees. Henry Seymour & Co is made up of a friendly 20+ people. This role sits within our Digital Schemes division, where you will assist commercial customers on a range of policies including Tradesmen, Hair & Beauty and Business Professionals. Initially full-time in the office, hybrid working will be available on completion of training and probation, giving you the option to work from home 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Assessing customer's needs, answering general enquiries and providing suitable advice
• Maximising renewal retention on allocated renewals and taking responsibility for replacing business where necessary to retain the client
• Completing amendments and cancellations as instructed, assisting with claims and resolving accounts and direct debit queries
• Providing a high level of customer service, treating customers fairly and adhering to rules, codes of conduct and guidelines as issued by the firm and FCA
• Ensuring all administration and paperwork is undertaken in accordance with company procedures and timescales

Qualifications and Requirements

• Great customer service and communication skills - both written and verbal
• A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• A sincere interest in developing a career within the insurance/broking sector
• A desire to work towards CII Qualifications (ideally)
• Work experience in a professional office environment (advantageous but not essential)
