Utilise your UX and UI design skills at all stages of the design process, including ideation, prototyping and UI design. Work closely with User Research, Service Design and Content Design to deliver high-quality designs across web and app channels. Carry out usability testing and other forms of validation to improve and iterate your designs. Contribute towards our creative culture by helping to drive awareness and understanding of design throughout YBS.

Qualifications

and a proven track record of designing engaging digital experiences that meet the needs of the people that use them. An ability to take complex business requirements and turn them into simple, clear interactions and interfaces that delight customers. A portfolio showing your experience of bringing your ideas to life using design tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, Adobe XD. Experience of working with a Design System and developing experience patterns. Curiosity, empathy, and creativity getting to the heart of people’s needs, behaviours and motivations is your gift, and you use it to help solve their problems. An ability to produce and validate your ideas at speed; iterating your ideas in a create, test, and learn cycle. A willingness to learn and try new things—be it tools, techniques, or ways of working. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey ideas and opinions in a clear, thoughtful, and simple way.
