Howdens Joinery are looking for a Junior Governance and Compliance Analyst to join our SAP Governance and Compliance Team.
In this role you will analyse business requirements, assess potential solutions and support systems on a day-to-day basis whilst working closely with the business and other IS teams.
This is a full time, permanent position working onsite 4 days per week with 1 day working from home. We are flexible on location. You can be based at our office in Raunds in Northamptonshire or our Howden office in Yorkshire.
What will I be doing as a Junior Governance and Compliance Analyst?
Reporting to the Governance and Compliance Lead, you will have a good all-round knowledge of IT and a basic understanding of supply chain processes to be successful in this role. As a Junior Governance and Compliance Analyst, you’ll analyse business requirements, make recommendations for change and design effective solutions as well as creating functional specifications that enable developers to program solutions. A willingness to learn new processes and develop relationships with end users, key stakeholders and external partners is also important.
As a Junior Governance and Compliance Analyst, you’ll also need to be an excellent communicator, who is self-motivated and exhibits a proactive approach to work as you’ll be managing and resolving service requests, providing business systems training and producing system documentation for current and new system processes. Following government guidelines this role will be home based for the immediate future, however this will be reviewed as and when restrictions are updated.
What do we need from you?
- A good all-round knowledge of IT and a basic understanding of supply chain processes is essential
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with others
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work and diagnostic problem solving
- A willingness to learn new processes and develop relationships with users/key stakeholders and external partners is essential
- Experience in root cause analysis and working with complex or custom software applications would be highly desirable
- Knowledge of SAP GRC and Health and Safety systems would be advantageous
