Howdens Joinery is looking for a Junior Governance and Compliance Analyst to join our SAP Governance and Compliance Team.

In this role, you will analyze business requirements, assess potential solutions, and support systems on a day-to-day basis while working closely with the business and other IS teams.

This is a full-time, permanent position working onsite 4 days a week with 1 day working from home. We are flexible on location, and you can be based at our office in Raunds, Northamptonshire, or our Howden office in Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Governance and Compliance Lead.
• Have a good all-round knowledge of IT and a basic understanding of supply chain processes.
• Analyze business requirements, make recommendations for change, and design effective solutions.
• Create functional specifications for developers.
• Develop relationships with end users, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Manage and resolve service requests.
• Provide business systems training and produce system documentation.

What we need from you

• Good knowledge of IT and understanding of supply chain processes.
• Excellent communication skills and rapport-building ability.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new processes and build relationships.
• Experience in root cause analysis and working with complex or custom software is desirable.
• Knowledge of SAP GRC and Health and Safety systems is advantageous.
