  • Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure structural integration across disciplines is seamless.
  • Undertake design reviews and quality assurance checks of junior colleagues' outputs.
  • Perform site visits for feasibility analysis, inspections, and to support project progress.
  • Participate in technical and client meetings, supporting presentations to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to internal improvements by refining design processes or enhancing digital workflows and toolsets.

Your Profile

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Approximately 2 years of relevant structural design experience, including the use of analysis software (e.g., Tekla, SCIA, SAP2000, IDEA Statica) and CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Solid understanding of steel, concrete, masonry, and/or timber design in-line with UK regulatory standards.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable producing technical reports and engaging with teams/clients.
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude, with a keen focus on learning and professional growth.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Familiarity with sustainability metrics or embodied carbon assessment tools.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary project settings and client-facing interactions.
  • Professional accreditation or eligibility progress toward ICE or IStructE chartership.
