Junior Test Engineer — Oxford (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 remote)

Overview

SciPro are partnered with a high-growth spin-out building AI‑powered imaging biomarkers for clinical decision‑making seeking a Test Engineer to ensure delivery of clinically regulated software via manual and automated testing.

What you’ll do

• Write & execute clear manual test cases; log reproducible defects
• Translate technical/clinical requirements into test plans and traceability evidence
• Support regression, cross‑browser, mobile & API testing
• Help build test environments and test data; verify fixes and release readiness
• Grow automation coverage (Playwright/Python/JS/Appium) and integrate tests into CI
• Work in Agile teams with engineering, QA, clinical and product stakeholders

You’ll have

• Degree in a technical field preferred (CS/Data/Computing/Game/UX) — other degrees considered
• Up to 1 year professional/manual testing experience (ideal)
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and clear communication (tech & non‑tech)
• Quick learner, self‑motivated, team player; high computer literacy
• Based in or commutable to Oxford

Nice to have

• Playwright (Python), Python, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, ISO 13485, ISTQB
