The GIG
As a Key Account Manager you have the exciting opportunity to influence the Influencers in the UK Fashion market and have a close working relationship with leading Global Fashion retailers based in the UK.
- You will have the opportunity to drive strategic & commercial goals through your partnership with our strategic accounts in the UK.
- You have extended market & product knowledge and experience handling high volume retailers.
- You will develop and implement strategic plans, master the operational processes and achieve commercial fundamentals in line with the DM4 strategic plan for all accounts
- You will create realistic and precise merchandising and financial plans per account through accurate bottom up and top down planning and forecasting
- You will nurture profitability & sustainability in your territory, in line with key metrics and brand guidelines
- You will drive the assortment planning and segmentation process within the defined distribution policy with your accounts, to ensure market differentiation.
- You will drive all steps of the seasonal GTM process in your territory with the support of a cross functional team
- You will establish and maintain close relationships with high level stakeholders and all key decision makers for your accounts, with an ability to influence both internally & externally.
- You will have a pro-active account management style and a flexible approach to travel required to service the strategic partners throughout the season
The Stuff That Sets You Apart
- You have previous experience as a Key Account Manager, preferably in the shoe and fashion industry. You will have worked with premium Urban and/or Heritage brands. You will have experience of selling and managing key retail partners such as ASOS, Zalando, Office, Schuh or similar
- You must have a passion for fashion and understand the value of collaborations. You will have a high level of trend awareness.
- You hold a proven track record of increasing sales and revenue.
- Have the ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
- High levels of self-motivation and you hold strong decision-making skills
- You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong at planning, prioritising and organisation
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Professional and adaptable presentation skills
