Role And Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager for Laundry, the Junior Product Manager – Laundry, will support the Senior Product Manager in creating and executing the category strategy, contributing to the overall UK Home Appliance strategy.
Purpose of the role
- Contribute to the development and support the implementation of the Laundry product strategy for the UK.
- Assist in communicating business priorities of the Laundry product line, translating HQ vision into UK-specific plans.
- Support P&L management of the Laundry category and oversee the Laundry budget to ensure profitable growth.
- Conduct data analysis on sell-in, sell-out, and market performance to drive category growth.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Commercial teams to develop propositions for the Laundry category.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Product Strategy
- Coordinate with UK HQ, Korean HQ, and EU HQ to ensure product setup with key UK channel partners before launch.
- Review and support the delivery of the Laundry category strategy.
- Set competitive RRP and invoice pricing for Laundry products.
- Analyze weekly sell-out data to track performance, identify trends, and recommend actions.
- Utilize external data sources like GFK for performance insights and strategic adjustments.
- Provide data to inform product channelization, lifecycle management, and investment decisions.
Market Strategy
- Work with Channel Marketing and Brand teams to communicate product strategies effectively.
- Support segmentation strategies for Laundry products in the UK.
- Assist in developing promotional plans and financial simulations for the Laundry category.
- Monitor competitor strategies and communicate insights to relevant HQs.
- Support marketing and training asset sign-offs.
P&L Accountability
- Support the Senior Product Manager in achieving margin, revenue, and stock targets.
- Conduct ROI analyses on business opportunities with UK Business Units.
- Assist in financial modeling and scenario planning.
- Contribute to budget planning and system loading processes.
Forecasting & Stock Management
- Input weekly forecasts into supply chain systems.
- Coordinate with demand planning to meet supply targets.
- Communicate plan variations with sales teams.
- Support actions for aged or surplus stock issues.
Launch Management
- Contribute to launch planning for new Laundry products.
- Coordinate stakeholders to ensure successful launches.
- Find innovative solutions to launch challenges.

- Category mix performance.
