- Define and own the analytics roadmap, ensuring alignment with product, operations, and business objectives
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable reporting and analytics solutions, including dashboards, curated datasets, and KPI frameworks
- Write advanced SQL queries and Python scripts to analyze large datasets, automate processes, and surface actionable insights
- Collaborate with data engineering and data science teams on data discovery, pipeline requirements, and feature development
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating data into clear narratives, recommendations, and measurable outcomes
- Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization across all analytics outputs
- Stay current on emerging analytics tools and cloud technologies, and introduce new approaches to improve efficiency and capability
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-focused roles, ideally in a technical leadership capacity
- Deep proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, optimization) and experience working with large-scale datasets in BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
- Strong Python skills for analytics, automation, and data manipulation (pandas, matplotlib, seaborn)
- Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and performance tuning in cloud-based environments
- Proven ability to lead teams, define strategy, and influence cross-functional stakeholders across technical and non-technical groups
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect data insights with organizational goals
Desirable Skills
- Background in e-commerce, marketing, or operations analytics
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Airflow, and Git-based workflows
- Experience contributing to data product development, working closely with engineers and product managers
