The ideal candidate will be adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product development. You should have strong R&D experience using a variety of data mining and data analysis methods and tools including building and implementing models and algorithms. You must have a proven ability to drive business results with your data-based insights. You should be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering insights hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, mine and analyse the data sets to identify valuable insightsIdentify and feed back changes to data collection and capture that may enable additional insightsCoordinate across teams to implement data models and monitor outcomesDevelop custom data models and analysis algorithms to apply to the data setsUse AI-driven approaches to create scalable and innovative solutions where necessaryEnsure we understand and can demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of the data sources, data gathering techniques and resulting analyticsDevelop processes and tools to monitor and analyse performance and accuracyKey Skills And QualificationsA Master’s degree or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or other quantitative field5+ years’ experience using data analytical languages (Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets in relational, non-relational and data lake sourcesExperience with Apache Spark / PySparkStrong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product developmentExperience working with and creating data architecturesKnowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques, their real-world advantages/drawbacks and the MLOps lifecycle including fine tuning modelsKnowledge of advanced statistical and data mining techniques and concepts and experience with applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and communicating with senior stakeholdersA drive to learn and master new technologies and techniquesExperience with data visualisation tools, PowerBI preferredExperience with a cloud provider, Azure preferredExperience using Python, PySpark, SQLExperience using PowerBIWhat you get from usIf you’re looking to build an exceptional career with an award-winning company you’ve come to the right place.
