About The Role
As a Lead Product Analyst, youll play a pivotal role in shaping how we discover, define, and deliver value across our digital products for Financial Advice firms. Youll bring deep experience in product thinking, systems analysis, and user-centred design to lead discovery efforts, define high-quality requirements, and influence product direction. Youll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure our digital products deliver meaningful outcomes. Youll also mentor analysts, embed best practices, and drive a culture of continuous discovery and evidence-based decision-making. Your leadership will help ensure our product analysis is aligned with strategic goals and delivers real impact for advisers and their clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and uphold best practices for product analysis, including requirements gathering, discovery, and backlog management.
- Shape product strategy by framing complex problems and aligning analysis with long-term business goals.
- Lead opportunity framing and solution evaluation, using insights and data to influence product direction.
- Champion data-informed decision-making through experimentation, A/B testing, and insight generation.
- Mentor and coach Product and Senior Analysts, supporting their growth and development.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to align backlog with product strategy and delivery cadence.
- Act as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and Design leadership, aligning analysis with cross-domain initiatives.
- Champion user-centric thinking, embedding customer impact into product decisions.
- Drive readiness for release, including stakeholder communication, compliance alignment, and enablement activities.
- Shape narratives and insights at the leadership level, contributing to strategic planning and product storytelling.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, curiosity, and evidence-based thinking across the product organization.
About The Candidate
- Proven experience in product analysis within agile, product-led environments.
- Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in defining features, slicing epics, and crafting high-quality user stories.
- Comfortable leading ideation workshops and mapping journeys.
- Experience mentoring analysts and shaping analysis practices.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, FigJam, and data analysis platforms.
- Deep understanding of adviser and investor needs.
- Proactive, resilient, and able to drive momentum.
- Committed to continuous learning and fostering a growth mindset.
