High Net Worth includes the discretionary fund management business, Quilter Cheviot, together with Quilter Private Client Advisers.

About The Role
Level - 4
Location - Southampton, with travel to our London offices

You will play a lead role in delivering a business-focused, innovative learning offering that builds the skills and capabilities across our organisation to support Quilter in achieving its strategic goals.
You’ll design and deliver of innovative, user-centric learning experiences and blend digital learning, instructional design and behavioural insights to create impactful learning journeys.
As part of an ambitious and people-focused team that collaborates with stakeholders across the organisation, your key areas of focus will include:
An ultimate focus on business needs
Align learning and development initiatives with business goals and objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and develop targeted learning programmes.
Close strategic capability gaps
Curate learning content and activities to address identified capability and skills gaps across the organisation, taking a business-first approach to solutions with innovative and flexible ways to facilitate learning.
Modern learning technology
Leverage learning experience platforms (LXP) and AI tools to create personalised, data-driven learning journeys.
Create Brilliant User Experiences
Ensure all initiatives are user-centric, intuitive and engaging. Map learner journeys across the employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration with onboarding, performance and career development. You will apply analytics to continuously improve content effectiveness, engagement, and learner satisfaction.
Deliver core learning proposition
Support the development and delivery of mandatory learning, ensuring regulatory and compliance standards are consistently met. Manage regular functional learning requirements including digital learning modules, curation of learning content, and supporting facilitation of in-person and virtual sessions.
Be part of a high performing team
Be continuously curious about latest trends and bring an outside in perspective to challenge the status quo and develop best-in-class modern learning experiences, leveraging the opportunities that AI can bring.
Measure effectiveness and continually identify areas for improvement, making data-driven decisions to enhance user experience.
Deliver a highly valued service to the business, giving a responsive service where colleagues benefit from valuable and effective learning experiences.
You’ll work closely with:
- Culture, Learning and Development Manager – to support delivery of the overall strategy and L&D roadmap.
- Employee Experience Team – to ensure learning activities are integrated across the full employee journey.
- Communications and DEI Team – to ensure activities and communications are inclusive and help drive participation.
- Data and Insights Team – to help monitor learning impact and engagement trends.
- External vendors and learning providers – to help administer services and ensure quality of delivery.

About You
- You’re confident in the strategic role learning experience design plays in building future-ready capabilities and driving measurable business impact.
- You’re passionate about how emerging technologies—like AI, LXPs, and immersive media—can transform learning into intuitive, engaging, and personalised experiences.
- You’re learner-centric, always thinking about how to create seamless, relevant, and valuable experiences.
- You’re skilled at uncovering learning needs through data, feedback, and behavioural insights, and translating them into impactful learning solutions.
- You’re creative and experimental, using design thinking and modern instructional design to co-create solutions that resonate with diverse audiences.
- You bring a sharp analytical mindset and a willingness to challenge conventional approaches, using external trends and internal data to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience in human resources, education, learning design, digital learning , or a related field.
- Experience in learning and development, instructional design or digital experience design.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align learning strategies with organisational goals and performance outcomes.
- Proficiency in learning platforms and e-learning tools (e.g. Workday, Degreed, Articulate 360, Storyline, Synthesia, or Elucidat) with a focus on learning experience platforms (LXP) and AI-enhanced tools.
- Ability to design user-centric learning experiences using principles of UX/UI, design thinking, and behavioural science.
- Experience creating learner personas and mapping end-to-end learning journeys across the employee lifecycle.
- Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Adaptability to emerging technologies, evolving business needs, and modern learning trends.
- Strong project management and agile delivery skills to manage multiple learning initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in learning analytics, with the ability to interpret data and make evidence-based improvements to learning experiences.
- A collaborative, curious, and proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation in learning.
