At Convene, we know that when our people are given opportunities to learn and grow, we all succeed. Our UK Learning & Development Specialist is key to making that happen. You'll be the one to bring our global L&D vision to life for our UK team, helping employees grow their skills and careers.
We are seeking a candidate who loves creating great learning experiences and building strong relationships. You'll put our global strategy into practice and be the face of our in-person new hire onboarding. Your success will come from working with our global teams to create a consistent and impactful learning experience for everyone in the UK.
Please note: candidate must currently reside in the UK and be able to work in the UK without sponsorship.
What You’ll Do:
Onboarding & Learning Strategy
You'll make the first impression count. You'll be the one to welcome every new hire in person, making sure they feel like they belong and understand their important role from day one.
- Lead our new hire onboarding programme from start to finish, running engaging, in-person sessions that introduce our culture and values.
- Keep the onboarding experience fresh and effective, ensuring it sets our team up for success.
- Work with People Operations and Talent Acquisition to improve our onboarding process for all employees.
- Put our global L&D strategy into action for the UK, prioritizing training needs by working closely with local teams and experts.
You'll design and deliver learning content that is both useful and engaging.
- Co-create and lead various learning opportunities, including workshops and virtual classes, to help our internal talent grow.
- Build high-quality training materials to ensure a consistent learning experience.
- Work with an entrepreneurial spirit, testing new programmes and using feedback to improve.
Systems & Data-Driven Insights
You'll use data and tech to scale our learning efforts and show their impact.
- Create the tools needed to enable learning and development at scale.
- Manage our Learning Management System (LMS) to create and report on team e-learning.
- Take full ownership of all UK compliance training and tracking, ensuring our team is always up-to-date with local regulations and requirements.
- Track key metrics like participation and effectiveness to make sure our programmes are effective.
