COMMERCIAL & TECHNOLOGY LEGAL COUNSEL

Our client, a leading UK-wide Legal Practice, is looking for a talented Solicitor/Associate (2–4 PQE) to join their growing Technology & Commercial team in London. You’ll work with major national and international clients across sectors including financial services, health, technology and real estate, supporting high‑quality, varied and genuinely interesting work.

You’ll advise on technology transactions, software development and licensing, SaaS, IT implementation projects, data licensing, and a broad range of commercial agreements. You’ll also support clients on data protection compliance, particularly in the context of technology projects. This role offers autonomy, excellent development opportunities and the chance to grow your profile within a highly collaborative national team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload and be a trusted point of contact for clients.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on commercial and technology contracts.
• Support client relationship management and collaborate across practice areas.
• Contribute to BD activity, including articles, seminars and client training.
• Maintain strong technical knowledge and adhere to data security protocols.

Qualifications

• 2–4 PQE (or similar experience) with strong commercial/technology skills.
• Genuine interest in technology, commercial contracts and data protection.
• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales).
• Strong client‑handling, communication and negotiation skills.
• Commercially focused, self‑sufficient and collaborative.
