Maintenance Controller

Overview

We are recruiting a Maintenance Controller on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will proactively manage the maintenance aspect of a portfolio of properties ensuring that client, company and statutory requirements are met. You will triage maintenance issues to the correct contractor responsible for rectifying the problem.

We prioritise our dedication to safer recruitment. A Basic DBS check is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage maintenance for a portfolio of properties, ensuring client, company and statutory requirements are met.
  • Triaging maintenance issues to the appropriate contractor who is responsible for rectifying the problem.
  • Liaising with tenants, contractors, landlords and the client to ensure queries are completed promptly and efficiently.
  • Paying suppliers invoices promptly.
  • Maintain communication and coordination with stakeholders to support smooth operations.

Working hours

Monday to Thursday 9:00am – 5:30pm and Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm. After an initial period of training, hybrid working (3 days at home) can be offered.

Location and employment type

Full-time, permanent role with a hybrid working arrangement possible after training.

Experience and qualifications

  • Property management experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Background in customer service and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with various IT packages and stakeholder engagement.
  • Good IT skills and time management abilities.
