Maintenance Controller

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Controller on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will proactively manage the Maintenance aspect of a portfolio of properties ensuring that client, company and statutory requirements are always met. You ensure that all maintenance issues are triaged in a timely manner to the correct contractor who is responsible for rectifying the problem.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with tenants, contractors, landlords and the client to ensure queries are completed promptly and efficiently.
  • Pay suppliers invoices promptly.
  • Coordinate maintenance across a portfolio of properties, ensuring timely resolution of issues and contractor accountability.

Hours and Working Arrangements

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 9am – 5.30pm and Friday 9am – 5pm. After an initial period of training, hybrid working (3 days at home) is available.

Basic DBS check is mandatory for this position.

More About You / Experience & Skills

  • Property management experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
  • Background in customer service and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with various IT packages and a track record of working with various stakeholders.
  • Customer service experience, good IT skills, stakeholder engagement, time management, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
