Management Accountant

Forge Talent is working with a private equity backed business that is looking for a part‑qualified Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.

You will play a crucial role in producing monthly accounts, supporting budgets and forecasts, managing a fast‑paced month‑end process, and supporting acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage invoices, cash flow and financial transactions with accuracy
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Handle audit queries and ensure compliance and smooth reporting processes
• Prepare group reporting and financial statements for private‑equity backed reporting
• Deliver a monthly reporting pack, ensuring quality and efficiency
• Complete month‑end close efficiently
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes as requested
• Support acquisition projects, including financial modelling and integration
• Oversee end‑to‑end commercial finance, ensuring a seamless financial operation
• Provide strategic support to the Financial Accountant, offering trusted insights

Skills & Experience

• Part‑qualified in ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent with ongoing studies
• Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills
• Ambition to qualify and progress in a growing business
• Commercially minded with analytical thinking
• Hardworking, persistent and dependable
